Hot Rocks | $20
Hot rocks are gently warmed and placed along the neck and shoulders to promote warmth and increase circulation and release tension.
Gua Sha (one area such as face, arms, shoulders, etc) | $20
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that uses tools made of various precious stones (we use jade) to improve circulation and promote “qi” (which means “life force). The muscle is gently scraped to relive adhesions and scarring while improve muscle tone.
Cupping (one area such as shoulders, back, lower back, etc) | $40
Cupping is an ancient art of healing using cups that are placed on the skin and gently pumped to flush stagnant blood and toxins from deep within the muscles. This technique may leave you bruised for no longer than a week. It is only for those who are serious about their bodywork. You must sign an informed consent form prior to your massage.

Shannon is a 2006 graduate of Spencerian College Massage Therapy program in Lexington, Kentucky. 16 years of experience including major spas such as Ecotage Salon & Spa, Total Image, and Dr. Nemastil (Chiropractic). She has enjoyed private practice for over 10 years. She has a BSN from Union College and is working on her Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. She has recently decided to return to a more holistic practice leaving her critical care, emergency medicine, and medical-surgical background at the hospital to focus on alternative and restorative medicine practices.
